Fun interesting characters, easy to follow and good weekend at the beach book. First time reader of Susan Boyd looking forward to more of her stories.
Well written "feel good" mystery. Great cast of characters & nice storyline. Truly enjoyable book that leaves you with a good feeling because everything worked out very well for everyone.
This book by Susan Boyd, whom I have not read before, was both fun and suspenseful. I really enjoyed her team of amateur sleuths, and it kept me very entertained, with a great plot. The author definitely convinced me that secrets do hide lies. I will definitely be watching for other Susan Boyd books.
This book was ok to read for free, but I wouldn't pay for it. I honestly didn't care for the writing of this book. At about 13%,I lost my interest in it, but went back to finish it after reading another book. I would read another of the author's books, but hope it's written much better than this one was. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to read it for free.
Very well written.I couldn't wait to get to the end of the story.Heart breaking but also funny.Kate was adorably sweet.
An interesting tale about a nasty stepfather who hated his stepdaughter and basically forced her out. He bullied his wife into anything he wanted and she was oblivious to what was happening. She thought her daughter just ran away. Well, she did but something happened to her. Kate is a colorful character in the book. Makes it fun. A good read with a few twists and turns. Enjoy!
This has a decent enough story line to keep my attention, but the writing is atrocious. For something to do, it's worth reading, but I won't read other books by this author if they're written the same way.
